Leaving Bari and heading north on the coastline, you get to Giovinazzo, which boasts a splendid XII century Cathedral. Giovinazzo, a little "paese", is nestled in the somnolent region of Apulia in Southern Italy. It embodies a millennium of history of the Bari area on the Adriatic.
