Asked to imagine an interesting deck for a small space, I thought of the jewel-like beautiy of an intimate landscape one might suddenly come upon while walking or hiking in the northwest. The sounds of an energetic stream draw you along paths of wild flowers leading the way down to a quiet pool where you can dip your toes or sit back and relax under a shade tree .
