This is a FREE group for sketchers dedicated to the practice of on-location drawing. Let’s create a grassroots community of sketchers! Hopefully we will get Bozeman on the map as the first group in Montana for “Urban Sketchers”!

At our (usually weekly) meetings we will go and capture what we see from direct observation of our surroundings, the places we live, and where we travel.

Any kind of drawing, sketching and or on site painting media and style is welcome. We support each other, draw together and share our drawings online.

I’m looking forward to exploring some intersting areas to sketch in and around Bozeman, where we have plenty of “Not Quite Urban” life!
